ATEA Technocamp 2026 – Self-healing infrastructure

In 2025, Karl Dag Gursli, Håvar Eggereide and I sat down to plan what we should organise for TC26. With all the rapid changes in the IT landscape, we concluded that we should focus on self-healing infrastructure. Much of this work we do every day with Terraform, Ansible and various automation, but AI agents are changing the picture very quickly, and we need to stay ahead of the curve.

Using Copilot, Claude and the like directly in the local IT environment feels a little wrong. You lose control over where your prompts flow, and do these AI companies really look after your data as well as they say? That is why we had to test this with local AI in the LAB. Fortunately we got Aron Krishna on board, who helped us with the fantastic LAB at Arrow, where we got access to several LLM models and an outstanding IBM OpenShift environment!

There was great learning in GitHub, OpenShift, n8n, OpenClaw, NemoClaw and the various LLMs we got to try our hand at. A lot of cool things were tested during these days and it really left us wanting more!

Dell Technologies stopped by, and Mark Thornton showed us the way in the Dell Automation Platform, AI Factory and the cool new AI product GB10. Thanks, Mark!

IBM came by with Aron Krishna and Ole Kristian Myklebust and showed us what is happening in the LAB at Arrow Electronics (IBM Fusion) with OpenShift. They also told us about the IBM AI agent BOB. A big thank you to both of you for all the input and help in getting TC26 done!

Kenneth Westerby caught wind of TC26 and popped his head in on his time off — thanks for the visit, we need to have a chat about the project :-)

The track turns out best with all the input, contributions and engagement from every participant. Thank you all! Anders Dramstad, Bård Erik Lund, Carl Erik Koltveit, Geir Johansen, Jan Kåre Eiken Reilstad, Johannes Nessa, Kjartan Flåm Ohr, Marius Hole, Ragnar Hongset, Richard Stein, Roy-Arne Høgestøl, Sondre Naustdal, Tore Eikanger, Torkel Nilsen.

We are looking forward to TC27!! #TechnoCamp #TechnoCamp2026
